1. Dream up a cartoon character. In 200 words or less, tell us the STORY of the character. Describe him, her, or it. Tell us the character's name, what it looks like, where it lives, what makes it special, what does it say as a catchphrase-everything you can!
2. On a second piece of paper, draw your CHARACTER. (Don't worry-it doesn't have to be perfect. We're looking for imagination and creativity!)
3. On a third piece of paper, draw a BACKGROUND or setting for your character. It could be at home, on the moon, in your ear, under the sea-wherever it would hang out. Remember, be sure to put your name on the back of each drawing you submit. Then take a shot at creating your own cartoon and enter the "SHOW OFF YOUR SHOW" CONTEST!
